As I am regaining my footing from my cancer journey, I have been fascinated by the interruption of nature into any urban or people made structures or plans. I’ve watched as medicine and machines and tests and protocols have worked to save my life. And I’ve watched as nature and love and community have held me to heal. This latest collection has allowed me the opportunity to let all of those pieces and parts - interrupting and coming together - to form a place and space that reminds me of everything while allowing space for nothing.

This painting is on display at the Graton Gallery. It will be there for the month of June 2024. Gallery hours are Thursday thru Sunday 11 - 4pm. Emerging Artist’s opening reception is on June 15 from 1 to 4pm.
